Key Features

Automatic Multi-Color Printing
Each AMS unit holds 4 filament spools, and up to 4 AMS units can be connected together to support up to 16 colors or materials in a single print.

Automatic Filament Switching
The system automatically loads, unloads, and switches filament during printing, eliminating the need for manual color changes.

RFID Filament Identification
Bambu Lab filaments include RFID tags, allowing the AMS to automatically detect filament type and apply optimized print settings.

Smart Filament Management System
Powered by a 32-bit MCU with multiple sensors, AMS manages filament feeding, detects issues, and performs automatic error recovery.

Filament Tangle Detection
If filament resistance or tangling occurs, the AMS pauses the print automatically to prevent failed prints or air printing.

Filament Backup Function
When a spool runs out, AMS automatically switches to another spool of the same material, ensuring uninterrupted printing.

Humidity Monitoring
A built-in humidity sensor monitors the internal environment and alerts users when desiccant replacement is needed for optimal filament condition.
